EPOS Health Management is implementing the EU funded project "Technical Assistance to Support the Strengthening of the HIS in Tajikistan". We have a vacancy for a JUNIOR PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERT.

This is a full time position with duration of employment from September 1, 2015 to March 30, 2016.

General Responsibilities:

·         Provide technical assistance in implementation of HMIS – DHIS2: assist the Regional coordinators in solving technical problem in connected points, conduct regional training on DHIS2, data quality and utilization; providing the support to DHIS2 users, etc. 

·         Participate in monitoring and evaluation of project activities, assist in conducting research activities.

·         Provide technical assistance in development of HMIS strategic plan for 2016-2020.

·         Assist the Team Leader, local and international experts in implementation of project activities at national and local levels.

·         Update the content of the project’s website.

·         Other related activities assuring a smooth implementation of the above tasks. 

Qualification and Abilities:

·         University degree in medicine and at least 5 years working experience in implementation of public health projects.

·         Master in public health (MPH) degree would be an asset.

·         Advanced knowledge and practical experience in computer utilization is required.

·         Experience in organizing, conducting, and monitoring of training activities is required.

·         Research experience would be an asset. 

·         Good communication and report writing skills are required.

·         Knowledge of Russian, Tajik and English languages is required (verbal and written).

·         Good team-player and high level of social skills are required.

·         Demonstrated experience in supporting consulting teams and ability to work with local and international partners and experts.
